Last week on April 21, 2016, Queen Elizabeth II turned 90. She achieved another milestone. She is UK’s longest reigning monarch. To mark this,  in celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, the post office unveiled a new line of stamps including a portrait of the Queen and her heirs.

Below is how her birthday was celebrated with Bake Off winner Nadiya presenting Queen with birthday cake

There are more parties lined up as according to tradition, British monarchs get to celebrate their birthdays twice – Once on the day when he or she is born and the other in June.

Why?

Simply because the weather is much nicer! So stay tuned for Queen Elizabeth II’s summer birthday celebration on June 11!
